Those players probably won't use it much.and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy since only good players will use it.of course it will look like it better when only good players use it. If you are an average or less cruiser player, you will probably just die faster. but if you can without dying (or better yet, proc Auboyneau since everybody shoots at you) you will often be rewarded with high damage games. It is designed for a lighthouse build Henri, but you gotta have hands to play lighthouse Henri. or let me take the specific example Henri's UU. So does that also mean that the concealment or MBM upgrade modules should be nerfed because they are too popular? Most of these upgrades compete with other upgrades for the 5th and 6th upgrade slots. so what is the incentive to get one if it doesn't make the ship play better for you? Remember these are items that cost 1/3 or nearly 1/2 of a RB ships. The whole idea of "balancing " UU's is completely asinine. Some UU are getting buffs and some are getting nerfs. If they are getting buffs, those UU were making those ships worse. If they are getting nerfs, those UU were too good. So, a UU that is causing a ship to over or under perform (by a large enough margin) vs it's non-UU version is going to get 'balanced'. The Unique Upgrades (UU) are there to provide different game play for those ships. You know how people accuse WG of balancing by spreadsheet?
